BookSmoke will be celebrating the launch of  Johnny Rich’s highly acclaimed novel The Human Script on 17th November.

In association with Red Button Publishing, BookSmoke will be hosting a reading of extracts by the author followed by an interview and audience questions chaired by BookSmoke’s Editor, Alex Masters.

Subtitled ‘a novel in 23 chromosomes’, The Human Script tells the story of a junior scientist working on the Human Genome Project who, after the death of his estranged and religious father, finds himself confronted in real life with the questions of nature and nurture that his work raises. Part love story, part philosophical thriller, the novel encompasses a wealth of ideas explored through the course of a gripping plot.

The event will take place on 17th November at the Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon.
